What's for dinner?

Don't you just hate that question? I'd rather be asked how to solve our US economic crisis or discuss capital punishment.

Statistics show that a mother's day is less stressful when she has dinner planned by 9am.

It's so true. Ask me how I know.

Well, I guess the only way to get a post on this page is to edit the page. Not sure how Blogger works!

My dear friend Adrienne mentioned my crockpot lasagna.

Mmmm, it tastes so good and fills the house with such a pleasant aroma.

These are the items I use...
lasagna noodles (regular or no-bake)
cottage or ricotta cheese
mozarella cheese
salt pepper
grated parmesan cheese
egg
spaghetti sauce
garlic salt
onion salt or sauteed onions

Mix cheeses, spices, and egg together in large bowl. Reserve 1 cup shredded mozarella cheese.

Spray crockpot with Pam or Mazola.
Spread @ 1/2 cup of spaghetti sauce along the bottom of your crockpot. Layer lasagna noodles
on top of the sauce. Spread cheese mixture over the noodles, until you have a 1" spread.
I add another 1/2 cup (plus or minus) over the sauce, then repeat all layers.
The top layer should go like this....
noodles, sauce, and remaining cup mozarella cheese.

Cover, turn crockpot on low.
Cooks in just a few hours.

You can also add cooked, crumbled, ground beef to the layers as well.

Enjoy!

  1. I loved how you made that lasagna in a crock pot. It smelled so good that one day! I can still smell it now, although I didn't taste, as I'm sure it was good. :)

    Blessings,
    Adrienne
